Adeyemi has extremely poor passing ability. So he is not comparable to a playmaker like Soule. Or Chiesa who is triple threat type, finish, good crossing ok passing winger.

He is a short CF or 2nd forward converted to winger due speed.

Poor touch, poor passing, poor finishing and injury prone. Just a speed merchant.

What I loved about Douglas Costa was that he has an amazing touch and elite control and dribbling to compliment his speed.

I remember him creating plenty of chances against Madrid in the CL final. If he's given a bit of space he can be devastating in Seria A. Just look what Leao and Theo are doing for Milan.
Also, he's only 22, he can improve his composure in front of the goal. Maybe he could have a similar career to Salah?

Attacking players from BVB usually go to top clubs, not Juve. His stats are poor as shit, he's not even a starter. Good chance this guy will be a massive flop.

He's nowhere near as good with the ball as Salah.

If his stats were great he would cost 150mln, not 40. Again, he's only 22. If he can improve on his technical abilities with that speed, he'd become a monster. I guess we want to bet on that.

Also, @Osman said Adeyemi is a converted forward. It wouldn't surprise me if we want him to be an alternative to Vlahovic too.

If my grandma had wheels she would have been a bike. I can only comment on his current output, and it was piss poor in BVB. If we were signing him for only 20 mil i would agree with you and the club on betting on him, but it looks like he'll cost around 40 mil. BVB paid like 30 mil for him and we'll pay more that that for a guy that was garbage playing for them.

⚡️ With Matias #Soulé sold, #Juventus is insisting for Karim #Adeyemi. The bianconeri will soon have the offer ready to present to #BorussiaDortmund for the striker born in 2002: €35M plus €10M bonus (5 easily reachable, 5 more difficult) to try to convince the black and yellow club.

Ok, I won't pretend I saw him play regularly so you're probably right.

too be fair everyone here makes more mistakes
I know what you're aiming at.

However, clubs are being run by humans. Scouting is what regular people do while watching matches, most of the time at least, especially considering how there are stats now present at every corner (unlike 10-15 years ago). Quite often you see stupid moves where huge chunk of people are like "why are we signing this garbage" and it turns out to be right. I'm not saying Tuz members have capacity to work for Juventus, but I'm just pointing out how our staff ain't made of alien outstanding IQ that sees future.

I've been seeing those comments "just trust the board, they know what they are doing" over the past decade and imo it just turns out they have no idea what they are doing more often than not.

Everyone saying he sucks, so I know he'll be good.

'Toli got this, worry not your little hearts
Probably, a talent is there, but least two seasons arent exactly encouraging. He is not a winger though, looks to me like we will play some different shit this year. Maybe more compact trio with Vlaho him and Yildiz?

He doesn't suck. He is a talented player with some clear limitations one sided skillset for wing position.

Don't listen too much about Dortmund fans, fans tend to exaggerate heavily about any player who struggled or been semi flop, like they have zero redeeming qualities afterwards.

One key factor to consider is they signed him as a 9 (what he was in Salzburg), when that didn't work out they shoe horned him unto new wing position. That takes adjusting.

Fast wing forward that attack reasonably well can work out in new setting, Lookman was seen as a flop in every club he was in before turning it around with Atalanta.

But there's two key things that worry me about Adeyemi (because his one sided qualities can be gameplanned for in specific tactical role). First is his health, and second is if he is worth the big price Dortmund would ask. If it's reasonable fee its ok. But the injury track record remains a worry.
