He is the holy grail pace merchant.

He also represents the embodiment of footballs existential threat which is that all skill and talent is irrelevant as the game becomes increasingly about intensity and pace.

So in that context maybe we should buy him
that's already happening. it's like tennis. in the 90's everyone played serve and volley at wimbledon, if you didn't and still made it to the last 8, that was most likely your best of your career. and vice versa: if you played serve and volley, then you simply didn't book your paris hotel for two weeks during roland garros. then came fucking nadal and the slow courts, and now everyone is a baseline merchant with two handed backhands. uniformity and physicality over personality. i hate it but kinda embraced it already, and i'm happy to see the random dani olmo popping up in the world of rodri's (and it's not to shit on rodri, he'd be the very first player i'd buy if budget wasn't an issue)

Tbf currently, Soule looks like more promising player than him. No injuries, good goal tall last year, younger.
One was part of a team that reached CL final the other part of a team that got relegated in seria A.
That being said, i wouldn't be happy if we get him, especially with that price. Hope i'm wrong.

He doesn't suck. He is a talented player with some clear limitations one sided skillset for wing position.

Don't listen too much about Dortmund fans, fans tend to exaggerate heavily about any player who struggled or been semi flop, like they have zero redeeming qualities afterwards.

One key factor to consider is they signed him as a 9 (what he was in Salzburg), when that didn't work out they shoe horned him unto new wing position. That takes adjusting.

Fast wing forward that attack reasonably well can work out in new setting, Lookman was seen as a flop in every club he was in before turning it around with Atalanta.

But there's two key things that worry me about Adeyemi (because his one sided qualities can be gameplanned for in specific tactical role). First is his health, and second is if he is worth the big price Dortmund would ask. If it's reasonable fee its ok. But the injury track record remains a worry.
talented with a massive injury record! Would be willing to take a Risk when you know that there is a .1% chance of buying a Injury-riddled, overhyped little fraud of a twink.

⚫️ Understand Karim Adeyemi-Juve deal is considered difficult at this stage, with BVB insisting on plan to keep him.

Juventus never presented any verbal or formal bid for Karim Adeyemi, talks only took place on player side.

BVB see Adeyemi staying as most concrete option.

You think a new coach just comes in, and tells arguably the most impactful player in the squad (although with injury issues) who can start talking to other teams in 6 months and leave for free, that he doesn’t believe in him? What’s the wisdom of that?
It’s almost certainly because of his expiring contract, and unwillingness to renew on the new terms, that we’re pushing him out.

Yes. Its been discussed a million times why he wouldn’t fit from a pure football standpoint. Just look at Bologna and Orsolini and how he get phased out.

Orsolini has a contract until 2027.
No way a club in a dire financial situation allows a new coach to pull this kind of shit.

My point is Orsolini saw his role reduced under Motta to the point he was essentially a bench player by the end, and his play style is similar to Chiesa. Chiesa may have been Allegris most impactful player, but Motta plays completely different than Allegri. So it’s not a leap to assume the reports of him not being in Motta’s plans to be true.

A new coach can’t just force a financial hit on a club with bad finances just like that. Even if Motta hates Chiesa’s game he should at least pretend to give him a chance not to increase the chance of him leaving for free, or being lowballed.

he’s not forcing it, it’s a combination of different factors. Like, maybe Chiesa shouldnt have demanded a raise the club can’t afford.

Adeyemi to Juventus deal, currently, can be considered off. [

Maybe he is an alternative as someone here said.
I believe we will get Koop in the end as the player wants Juve as well. The fee will be closer to Atalanta`s wishes as it looks like a similar case to Chiesa and Vlahovic - They know we want him and the player isnt pushing too hard while he has a contract there.
I just hope he will be worth it.
He might not be the typical high value purchase we would be looking for but he is a player that is making the right decisions on the pitch - Something we really lacked last term.
