close call between Ale and Camo.

for me it's Camo cause when Ale plays great he plays great alone. but when Camo plays great the whole team's face changes not just the upfront.

For me, it is like this:

Best player of the season: Del Piero/Zanetti.

Best player of the half season: Camoranesi/Sissoko.

I can't pick just one, TBH.

Camo for me because he takes the team to a whole new level.

This is a tough one...coz I feel the players really started to kick in the 2nd half of the season (DP , Camo and Sissoko). Over the WHOLE season though esp when I take consistency into account, I'd go for Zanetti

thats the sad bias and clouded thought this forum is plagued with everyday. unfortunately no other players are regarded as high or as dearly as ADP is. which makes anything they do menial no matter how great it is.

I would have picked Camo if he had played more games. Del piero played more games than Camo and played one of his best seasons with Juve, he deserves credit for it. I'm not taking anything away from Camo who has really been our greatest creative force by far and has consistently put up brilliant performances game after game.

Not only that, but I chose Del piero because I haven't forgotten the constant critisizm thrown at him by the media and even his own fans. I find it extraordinary how he was able to yet again pull through and prove his critics wrong. It's no surprise this guy has so much admiration from Juventus fans.

I'm not going to say I don't prefer Del piero more than others and that I am more or less biased towards Del piero but really, doesn't he deserve it? After 14 years at this club, the fans are bound to have a soft spot for this guy.

If I had to pick one player to win the serie A player of the year, it would have to be Del piero as well. I can't think of one player that has performed better. It may just be my biased opinion but I honestly think he has been better than any Roma, Inter, or Milan player this year.
