It's a balanced group. We're probably going to lose the first game against Chelsea, or possibly get a draw if we are extremely lucky. They are a superior team to us, and anyone who refuses or can't see that are either delusional or terribly biased.

I really don't understand why so many think we'll lose to Chelsea. i understand they'll be tough but we can easily control the game in midfield. I've seen quite a bit of Chelsea so far (thanks to them being involved in a couple of Super Cup games), and they do look vulnerable. Struggled against Reading, Falcao tore them up, City scored three against them. Their Champions League victory wasn't exactly through great performance either, there was a lot of good fortune on the way. Di Matteo obviously picked up the pieces to make a very experienced team (the reason why they should be favourites for the group) perform better, but I'm really not sure on his ability either.

Reassuring to see the back of Drogba as well.

I will be interested to see our style in the CL. Last year when we had that string of tough away matches it seemed Conte was content to match our opponent's play style and force a draw. Then win at home later in the year. Everyone was complaining about all our draws but we were a somewhat new invention and it seemed Conte elected to play it safe when facing tough matches for the first time.

The CL presents more of the same and I'm wondering if we'll be content to match Chelsea and look for a draw away. Or if we'll stick to 3-5-2 and try to possess the ball over 60%.

Drogba was the ultimate clutch player for them, huge contrast to what Torres has done at Chelsea. He's still to be feared but I don't think he'll be pulling them through games like Didier did.

One word: grinta. This is the old Juve. They love the snow. Blood is much easier to distinguish on the pure canvas of snow.

We have better midfield and defense! They have better strikers on paper. I am really looking forward to Gio or Vucinic owning Ivanovic's big ass. With our attacking duo Vucinic-Gio (let's hope they'll be fit) I expect lots of freekicks and we should take advantage from them, Pirlo and Gio are really good at that.

I see us being slightly favorite.

I agree we're slight favorite, but knowing the media's bias to English teams and bias against Italian teams, they're going to make it sound like Chelsea are favorites by miles.
