yes I think we should support udinese (so braga doesn't make CL) and one other team but I don't remember that team. (guess is Kiev) maybe Alen can check it.
If it is going to be ajax - juve I would be dancing around my apartment :D
You were right. Ajax can make the 2nd pot only if Kiev and Braga fail to qualify. It's gonna be tough to expect Kiev to fail. They won away in M'gladbach 3:1 and now they play at home.

I guess toughest group would be Barcelona, Man City, Juve, Malaga and the easiest for us would be with Porto, Olympiakos and Dinamo Z.

I want to draw them
6 points in the pocket and I can see juve in real life :weee:
6points in the pocket? :D  Its not like we are playing siena or something

I want the strongest group, so we can see where we stand in Europe. also the chance of destroying Madrid again will overjoy me!

We can't get both Barca and Malaga. We can get Dortmund from pot 4, though.

In any case, City-Dortmund-Barca/Real in our group would make it the group of death of all the groups of death in the world.

My bad. I think Dortmund is in third pot

It depends on other results but getting Dortmund would bring back some old memories.
Yeah, but for them to make pot 3, all these need to happen:

- M'gladbach to eliminate Kiev (Kiev won 3:1 in Germany)
- Helsingborg to eliminate Celtic (Celtic won 2:0 in Sweden)
- AEL to eliminate Anderlecht (AEL won 2:1 in Cyprus)
- Cluj to eliminate Basel (Cluj won in Switzerland)

Almost impossible all 4 to happen :D

And as sweet as it would be to get a revenge on Dortmund, I'd prefer Dinamo from pot 4. :p

p.s: My mistake, 3 of these 4 need to happen. If Malaga eliminates PAO, and it looks likely, then 3 of the 4 above need to happen for Dortmund to make pot 3. Still close to impossible.

You're right it's impossible all four to progress.
Dinamo was shit last year and if they are lucky to progress they will get fair share of beating like last year.

we shouldn't fear dortmund, they lost kagawa and have lesser class of threatening players than other big teams...

it's city we should fear about because that will guarantee a real group of hell since that leave us with spanish top dogs and bayern for the pot 1, unless there is a weak pot 1 team.

I would want a tougher group for two reasons.

    1) We're Juventus, and I want the World to see us beat the best.
    2) We struggle against teams which would "fear" us, and excel against stronger teams. (usually)

yes yes, vucinic, giovinco, matri, quaq and boakye ready to storm the biggest guys in europe... call me a coward, but I don't think that'll end up good for us...
    Coward :p

Well, that Amauri fella scored against Real Madrid, did he not? Although you're forgiven for forgetting that due to most of the game being a blur after Ale's wonder strike.

It's gonna be sweet if we make an impression in the groups already, but it's a risk if we get a tough group. I'd prefer Europe to notice us where it counts - in the knockouts.

I vote for an easy group, where we will even be favorites to win it.
Not that I'm against an easy group, but as someone said earlier, we sometimes "struggle" with the smaller teams of Europe. Tough group would bring a tough mindset.

It still brings an unneeded risk. A very tough group can make us stronger and more popular as a team, but it can also mean higher chances for elimination in the group stages already, as well as losing ground in serie A because we'll need to give our all in Europe.

ok so people who think we're gonna get thrashed by higher seeds in the group stages rather we get thrashed in the knockouts. gotcha. reminds me of chelsea's coward run to the cup last year.
