Juventus wins the 2002 edition of the Valle d'Aosta Trophy. The bianconeri confirm last year's victory when they beat Napoli and Atalanta.
This time Juventus' opponents are Reggina and Al Ittihad. Victory against the Lybian (goal by Conte), and victory against Reggina at the penalites.
From the penalty spot, Trezeguet, Salas and Davids made no mistakes and Chimenti completed the task by saving the last kick from Savoldi, after Vargas and Mamede have failed their shots.
After the first match between Reggina and Al Ittihad, won by calabrian for 1-0 (goal by Bodgani), Juventus made its debut against the champions of Lybia.
