After the positive 3-0 result against Catania, Juventus will meet on Saturday, September 7th, Messina in the second match of the Sicilian tournament. Marcello Lippi will confirm the same team that impressed at the Massimino Stadium.

Ferrara and Olivera are doubtful with slight musclar problems. While, Conte and Tudor, who recovered after their respective injuries, should play a part of the game.

Juventus defeated Messina in the second friendly match played in Sicily thank to goals scored by Salas and Zalayeta in the second half.

Marcello Lippi started with Ferrara, Fresi and Montero in defense, Zenoni on the right wing and Birindelli on the left , Tacchinardi and Paro in the centre. Salas and Zalayeta were the two forwards with Camoranesi supporting them.

In the first half at 15’ chance for Birindelli on a free kick, but the goalkeeper Manitta was ready. Then it was Salas' turn to be dangerous for Juventus while Calaiٍ tried for Messina. No other emotions in the first half.

In the second half Tudor replaced Paro. The first goal came at 16’ with Salas assisted by Zalayeta and 5 minutes later Zalayeta himself scored the second goal for the final score of 2-0.

I wouldn't be surprised or disappointed with the 2-0 win, we played with: Chimenti, Ferrara, Fresi, Montero, Zenoni, Camoranesi, Tacchinardi, Birindelli, Paro, Salas, Zalayeta. Hardly our first-team :D
