I dont fault the players individual performances for this. The team's positioning, off the ball movement and mainly defesive transition is a hot mess.

Pirlo is a rookie going straight for a home run with this unconventional scheme, specially with little time to train between NTs and injuries/covid.

It's up to him to stop overthinking and simplify things. Player are lost

I would've preferred he come on as a sub, personally. I'm all for giving youth players minutes, but what does bother me though is he hasn't been subbed out yet.
