Very poor half. You'd expect some sort of reaction after Udine and with the chance to win the league (also with Lyon in mind).

Lucky to have Rabiot and Ronaldo. Rabiot has dragged us forward, just needs to lift his head more.

Higuain has improved us since coming on. Suddenly there is someone for the defence to deal with down the middle, who might run in behind which haas created space for others.
I wouldnt call it poor as I feel we could have easily scored more but wrong final pass ruined it

Ideally they should be rested. Seen spanish teams withdraw to prepare for cup finals to great success; seen south America teams withdraw completely for 3-4 weeks before continental cup/Club WCs. But only Italian teams seem to have this opinion about playing to keep match fitness instead of resting. Both Allegri and Conte did that. Sarri might also.
Yes. Difference between ours and Real's preparation for Cardiff. We know how it turned out.

Dybala might be our best defence-unlocker, but we are a far easier team to face up when he plays instead of Higuain.
And that's because we lack options and Sorri has no plan B. Hopefully with a more dynamic midfield and some quality wingers (Kulu, Zaniolo and Boga) we can play at pace, stretch defenses and shift the focus from Dybala a little.

We had two shots on target, one of them a Bertha shit shot right down the middle. We created next to nothing. We're lucky to be going in 1-0 at the break and I'll take it.
Failing to create due to final pass is still failing....
Some passes went to Ronaldo despite others in better position aka wrong final pass decision and we had a few of them

Well no tactically it's because Higuain makes runs and turns defences so the opposition defence doesn't simply have to put up a wall and watch all the play in front of them. Higuain is a #9 so it's something different, not particularly better.
