Licht saved a clear goalscoring opportuniy at 2-1 by doing a superb cover tackle, making up a lot of yards and reading the play perfectly. I have no doubt in my mind DeS wouldn't have been in that position to stop it.

I agree though there is a high chance of a red in this game and of course Licht is a risk.

It's actually 66% on point. The first VAR situation today was wrong because there was a clear offside that should have been seen by the ref.

We're playing off him. His movement has been good and is lying a lot of balls to Dybala and co. which seems to be the plan for today.

I think it's because it has to be intentional and hand to ball. That's almost impossible for a ref to analyze in real time.
Btw. We're the much better team.

I don't know if people remember what these types of games usually look like but I'm pretty sure we are producing way, way more than we usually do. Perin is getting bombarded.

We were so unlucky at the start but I think we are playing well.

We are playing well despite being inept in wide positions. Sandro is off, Cuadrado is AM lol and Mandzu is full time box striker..


Also counters are a worry because Rugani, Khedira, Pjanic are all slow to keep up so catch them on wrong side and we get annoying nervy moments.

The VAR was so concentrated on Rugani's contact with Galabinov, that he failed to notice the offside. I guess these are the mistakes that will happen quite a lot in the first year, before the VARs learn how to do their job perfectly.

They are 3 guys watching the fucking replays on 4 tvs in a room, how can you not think about offside

See... i dont like the pauses either... but im also fukin tired of losing games for referral mistakes...we lost one CL for an offside PK.

If VAR is used properly and brigs justice then so be it. I think we all have had enough of referees shitting their panties when having to yellow card the messis and cr7s of the world.

You can find a foul in any physical challenge if you look hard enough with the modern set of rules. It's all a matter of perspective.

True, they really need to do smth about the soft penalties, VAR is affecting the final score too much already!

Khedira Slow, sluggish, cumbersome. I saw a Genoa player blow past him on at least two occasions. Both him and Cuadrado need to be substituted. Our midfield offers absolutely ZERO protection to our defense, which isn't really covering itself in glory either. We've been good going forward, but terrible at the back.

Thats why im arguing.. not that DS is the better option, but safer not to get a red...
