Swag has been harping on this for weeks. It's silly. Our defense is responsible for maybe 5-6 goals in 14 matches this season. The lion's share have been from midfield errors. As in free kicks conceded by midfielders, and shots from outside the box where midfielders haven't closed down shooters.

What is horrible is our defending of setpieces. We've actually been quite lucky in that regard this season, without some luck or Buffon monster saves we'd have conceded quite a few from corners and the likes.
