That's entirely Pirlo. If Marchisio was playing in that role, he would have marked Ronaldo, and at least made an attempt to intercept that. Pirlo was standing beside him just outside the 6 yard box, watched him break toward goal, and didn't give enough of a shit to follow, just stood there.

What? We had three very good chances. Tevez shot instead of putting Morata through on the goal. Lichtsteiner had that fantastic chance. And Morata's goal.

We've had very decent offensive output.

I don't think that was a fantastic chance and it ended very badly. Morata's goal was a very lucky one. Other than that we didn't do much at all.

Real wasn't really that great either but considering it's an away match they pretty much had 1-2 in their pocket after 40 minutes.

Unless we change something this is not gonna be a positive outcome.

Yep. Sturaro has been very impressive.

It was a clear penalty. Varane didn't touch the ball, and tripped him. Clear contact, it wasn't even minimal.
