Not an enjoyable half to watch, and I'm sure the second half will be along the same lines.

We are doing well but giving away far too many dangerous free-kicks.

We also need to try to control the ball a bit better we did it at the end of the half well.

I would like to see us use some of Athletico's tactics to take the sting out of the game, just stay down a little longer. Buffon hold onto the ball for longer etc just to disrupt the flow.

That's exactly what I meant. The formation change clearly makes it harder for them though, they're often relatively isolated up front when we get the ball back. On the other hand, there's more defensive stability though, something arguably more important right now.

Same tactic as before. Give them the ball and allow them to do nothing with it. It's beautiful.

Its amazing how awful they've become.We knew they are pretty shit in posession but they cant even string 3-4 good passes together and to think that they were doing this with a ease a year or two ago.
