Last time I saw something so disjointed and sloppy was the equally eerie atmosphere during the Shakhtar home game. We started well but without Pirlo it doesn't really work, call it the formation or whatever but it's just the lack of familiarity in their roles. We've quite a few back ups in, and the left side with Chiellini pushing alongside De Ceglie is massively lacking in technical capability.
If it's still not working after the early stages of the second half then we have to try something a bit different.
Buffon
Padoin - Barzagli - Bonucci - Chiellini
Vidal - Pogba - Marchisio
Tevez - Vucinic
Llorente
He'll probably put Vucinic on past 70', which would then be a more orthodox and risky 4-3-3.
I don't like these disjointed and open games, we totally lack control and are leaving ourselves exposed.
