Giach and Gio are awful. 4-3-3 or 3-5-2, the formation doesn't really matter. Our attack is still shit, and unless Vucinic produces a moment of magic, we get a header from a corner, or one of our midfielders comes up trumps we aren't winning this game.

Bonnucci almost gave me a heart attack early on; it's really risky playing 4 at the back with Bonnucci in there, and that's why we deploy the 3-5-2. Things became a lot easier once Toro went down to 10 men ;)

Said it before

giac can control a ball close, run fast with it in a straight line, totally $#@! up when changing the line, and usually doesnt so ends up crashing into a defender

giovinco gets manhandled in tight spaces

Man, when vucinic plays good, he will make any formation we play look world class

He was good but he tends to drop too deep imo. When you have Giovinco and Giach alongside you then dropping that deep is odd, you need someone upfront who can score and both of them can't.
He has to do it all alone. Every time he drops deep he plays one of the wings into a favorable position. They just need to cross it to Pogba and Marchisio who storm into the box once Mirko drops deep.

Too bad both of them are poor today, i can't believe Gio. This is supposed to be the perfect formation for him, he has SO much space to run at the full backs and yet no good has come from him.

tells us much about your knowledge about football. yes he had a two or three nice attempts on goal, one being fouled for the penalty and the other the long range strike, but that does not make this a good performance.

he had more than three misplaced paces where he tried to play the fance high ball but played it 5m into the back of the players. in terms of passing he needs not only a few lessons taught by pirlo. to keep the ball and system flowing you can not afford to lose possession times and times again by misplacing passes because you chose the fancy way of hitting the ball above the one that would suffice and get the receiver a chance to actially get to the ball.

i guess pogba will keep it more simple with his passes from now on
I can only partially agree, of those 5 misplaced passes, 2 were actually very good, but the forwards fucked up who would take on the ball

his very first offensive pass, was exactly that

The cormation isn't Gio's problem. His talent is.

Pirlo isn't poor at all. Terrible PK, but other than that he's playing pretty well. Case in point, the next thing he did after missing the PK was a perfect 45m pass to Giovinco on the wing, who then proceeded to squander it :p
