Name one instance where DP has held onto the ball when he should have passed it. He only holds it when he doesn't have a good supporting option. Him holding onto the ball is what allowed us to score our goal.

There's a lot of positives to be taken so far...

Iaquinta looks awesome as the playmaker and runner for Del Piero and Trezeguet... he seems to belong in an advanced winger position.

Grygera has played excellent so far, and brings a lot of stability to the right wing, as Chiellini does for the left.

Zanetti is doing a pretty good job breaking up attacks.

And the bad...

Criscito is simply not strong/experienced/smart enough to be the starting CB for Juventus in anything other than Coppa and ganes against weak opponents at this stage. He has been targetted by Roma as the weak link in the defense, and has been exploited. Both goals came from his area of protection.

Nedved has been invisible.

Nocerino looks uncomfortable when he has to cover on the right side.

I'm confident with a smart sub or two, they can even it up and take a point out of this.

But even so Criscito should never have let Totti turn like that. It was a brilliant move by Totti but defenders can't let forwards get goal side like that.

Andrade has been good and apart from a couple mistakes Criscito has put in a good shift too.

But you are not allowed to make a couple of mistakes on this level. Especially since his "couple of mistakes" are the reason we're behind in this game.
I agree Criscito needs to play to get the experience (duh), but in big games we can not afford to use him, yet.

Since Nedved is playing deep, why not bring someone better in this position. Nedved does not fit at all with three forwards, he's burried, he can't distribute so far back and he can't get space where it is crowded.

Since Grygera is very good defensively but we dodn't see him going forward he should play instead of Criscito and Sali should take the flank.

We would use the sides much more than we are doing.

Tiago can distribute to the flanks, Del Piero can use the left side more effectively and our forwards will get more balls.
