Physically just not there to keep up the high level athletic requirements to maintain the entertainment value to viewers compared to men, thats why I allways liked brazilian female player Marta, not only was she insanely skilled (would eat up anyone), but she was little quick and explosive enough to entertain me on top of that, otherwise the difference can be stark, seems slow motion for someone who used to male footie (when I was 14-16 we used to face closest 1st division female club and basically won them 9-3, 7-2 etc because of the high tempo physical difference). Every other type of player gotten more skilled and technical in what they do because female players start off younger and take it more seriously then before (In certain countries). But goalies...ugh goalies, they tend to be quite more amateur level in terms of dealing with long shots and area command in general etc.

yeah, back when I was a footie journalist during high-school years we had an official friendly game of Sports Journalists vs Women NT of Latvia, it ended 7:1 in our favor and they got pretty angry. it was pretty even technically, since the best of us were futsal amateur league level and they clearly were better as a team since they actually had played together many times, but the physical difference was too much for them, couldn't run or shoot the ball to save their lives

- Nobody gives a fuck about female football. Men find it disgustingly poor level of play and amateurisch. Women just dont care, unless they play football

- Women are excellent in plenty of sports. And i do watch olympic weightlifting, powerlifting, athletics and when Henin was still playing : tennis. Cause usually women dont have raw apestrenght(thats a powerlifter term by Mark Bell, google it), but they got fine technique.

- The ONLY reason why people will actually watch female sports, when they are at an absolute amateur level and there is noting to see, is sexist reasons

I Don't think it's objectifying women though, it's Beachvolleyball ffs. What are they supposed to wear? A suit and a bow tie? What are their male counterparts wearing?
