This should be a good test for us , newcastle is a team in rebulding and so are we.
Its also about time we get a good result against a english team so that we can buck the worrying trend of losing against the english esp in the Champions League match ups.Ultimately this game will give a good test agains a team with pace and possible long ball tactics with big sam's penchant for that kind of game

i just want a decent performance worthy of juve
the 1st half vs china u23 was a disaster!!the 2nd half was a huge step up in gameplay
but hopefully this game will give us a clear idea on ranieri's starting 11 though i hope marchionni and palladino start..theyve had good preseason performances

We were basically the best team in the world with the best player in the world (Nedved) in 2003. I don't see how you can say this current team is good.
