You guys should've seen how Gigi went mad after the ref gave Feynoord many attempts in the free-kick .. after they scored he jumped and with a 'karate' move kicked the left post ...
Not that I know anything about karate but it looked like a regular kick to me ;):D

I hate it too.

It just really annoys me that here in England, if say faced with a choice between barca - Juve and manU - Basel or something they would choose the man U game:fero:

btw great to see Gigi so pissed off, shows how much he cares :touched: forza Gigi!

anyone would get flared up,to get two retakes and to score on the third is just terrible, though i hate to say that the referee did well.everyone in europe should learn to get back the full 10 yards until the ball is touched.what he did was something not all refs owuld be bold enough to do.

I watched the match and just got online to post my comments. I feel that Lippi should have sat back and defended so early *50 mins?*

I mean Davids out for Fresi meant a 5-3-2 formation, and if we had put say Baiccao for Davids and stuck to a 4-4-2 we would have oppressed Feyenoord.

VH did well with the free kick. Better than Beckham IMO. Good work with Camo getting his goal!

Anyway, Juve got a decent result from Feyenoord, last season's UEFA champion. So well, I'm not pissed :D

Juve where a lot better than Feyenoord in the first half and the first 10 minutes of the second, then we got tired. We must remember that we haven't played as many games as Feyenoord. When we get back to full strength we will be very strong.

P.S I think Davids was subsituted since he was tired, he hadn't played a single game before this one.

This is what the Juveplayers (and especially Buffon) was so mad about. Van Hooijdonk moves the ball 1-2 meters to the left to get a much better angle for his right foot strike:

hello to all peeps that say 1 point is enoough

a day before the match we saw Real make Roma look like a 3rd division almost-brankrupt amatuer side when they won 3-0. and dont say Real have already played more games crap..they have probably played 2 to 3 games more than roma, but still the managed to win easily, worryingly easily.

now, we all surely want Juve to win the CL this season. If we are satisfied(Lippi and even all of us) at a draw against a side that Real beat comfortably in the EU SuperCup, then we have to change our mentality, alot. DOnt say that feyenoord just came from a very impressive 5-1 win. we won against Christian Doni's Atalanta 3-zilch.

So if Lippi and all of us are satisfied with draws like this, dont dream of winnin anythin in Europe this season.

:lick: ;)

You're right, Dj, it's not a bad result. I just think it was unnecessary to go home this early instead of working to double the lead.

Well....

Firstly I hope I never have a reason to go to De Kuip again!!

A 1-1 draw was the result I was expecting before the game started, so I cant be that dissapointed.
And to be fair it was probably the correct result!

The match was a great game... very entertaining!!
We played very well indeed for the first 20 minutes... and then as the tiredness set in we started to lose the iniative and were pressed hard for the rest of the half.

Camos goal was fantastic.
Davids started badly but grew stronger through the half, same for birendelli who ended up playing a good game.. though he would have been more suited to being on the right.

The second half was similar... we started well til we tired and then they took the reigns.

Overall i'd say maybe we edged it but it was a reasonably fair result.... though not the way it came.

The subs::

Davids had to come off, he was tired and obviously in pain.... the choice of fresi to me at a time when we were physically weak was the correct move.

People that moan that we went defensive obviously didnt see the game.... with our condition if we had carried on pushing we would have been more likely to give up another goal or 2.

I didnt understand Ale being taken off... he was playing well and didnt appear too tired, though he did put in quite an effort.

Salas did ok , a big improvement on his poor showing at the weekend.

Nedved worked hard but failed to make much of an impact.

Tachh was solid and starting to look like he might be slowly returning to his form of 2 years ago... now that lippi has found confidence in him and restored him to his rightful place... unlike last season!!
Plus supplied 2 very good shots from distance... havent seen a good long shot from tachh in far too long!!

Di Vaio again put in a very busy and effective nights work... though he missed one he should have put away and didnt see Ale in perfect position and opted to take a shot that he stood little chance of scoring instead.

Ciro was quality again... such a shame the header didnt go in..

Everyone did a pretty good job tonight barring montero whos current run of bad form is becoming a joke and a liability.... he neeeds some bench time to sort himself out!!
The missed header that would have sealed the game was nigh on unforgiveable.. you dont get chances like that very often!!

The ref::
Personally I thought he did a very good job until that one incident that robbed us of victory and spoilt a nigh on perfect peice of refereeing.

The freekick was ridiculous .. i have never seen such a thing.... to order a retake fine!! but 3 attempts by a worldclass freekick taker from the exact same spot.... give me a break, talk about hand them the draw.... They (imo) would never have scored from open play!!

Anyway, unhappy with the way it happened but the result was ok... and the performance promising!!

Lets just forget the fact that we are Juve fans for a moment! They did go closer to PVH too soon. It was a right call. We were the ones to blame. One card and another call from the ref should be enough. But it wasn't. By the time they kept still till the kick Gigi was too nervous and PVH's foot too warmed up. The thing we can cry after is the chance Di Vaio had, when he was alone infront of the keeper.
