Hi guys!
In Vecchia Signora, one of the biggest italian Juventus forums, we are trying to launch a protest for asking Juve to replace yellow numbers with black ones.
This is the thread: goo.gl/V61YwG
A specific Twitter account was also opened for this (@La_Bianconera).
If you don't mind to help us, please retweet this tweet...

Thank you and FORZA JUVE! :theflag:
too late im affraid. Nike already made quite a lot of kits and it would cost them too much to change things now. remember the trouble with 3 stars/2 stars/no stars we had 2 years ago...

The white patch for the numbers isn't there just as a design, pretty sure Uefa has some sort of rule regarding teams with stripes, specifically black and white ones. Think there has to be a solid background behind the numbers. This year though, they could have made the patch black instead of white, so the numbers are easier to read.

it was black for the last 2 seasons. they had to change something to make us think that they are actually doing something and putting time into designing kits :D

Exactly. And unfortunately there is a right and wrong way of showing numbers against a background. If you are going to do similar tones against each other then the border needs to be defined better.

its like Nike is punishing us for choosing adidas :D. they put similar colors on the background and the number, they made thiner numbers than before and also thin borders between number and background. if you are not a hardcore fan and know exactly where every player is and in what areas he moves you will have lots of trouble recognizing some of our players on the pitch

It's not Nike who prints names and numbers though.
They are printed by Stilscreen, an Italian company.
We just need to order black fonts from them and the problem would be solved.
Udinese did the same last year... at the beginning their new shirt had yellow names and numbers on white background (ironically they introduced it exactly against us)... then the fans complained, and in the following game they reverted to black numbers... so I don't think it would be a big deal to change them, if they want to.

I think they will increase the thickness of the black edges, and it will be bearable. They won't leave it like that, im sure. Though it was exactly why football league and epl has that mandatory font for every team. only in friendlies and CL/EL english teams use their own fonts. I think that adds a bit more order

The white patch, although I prefer the black one aesthetically, is not a problem if you print black numbers and names though.

We're at #7 EXCLUDING the premier league. With is, we're not even in the top 10. Inter and Milan being above us is pretty sad :p

Next season we're going to have 30M from Addidas and 17M(+probably bonus few mil) from Jeep. so we will have ~50M a year.
That's better already.yeah we could have done better with the sponsor but Addidas deal is great and is there together with the top clubs.

excluding Man.utd deal wich is something unbelievable.

So we're are in a better place than Milan and Inter.
