Good win and a better than satisfying performance from all
For those who are blaming Di Vaio, do u think its easy playing on your own while the manager tells Dp to play as a left winger in the first half where apart from his 2 goals was having a nightmare and in the second half , Dp played very well but for some reason in the midfield
What has happened to Lippi, why is he so bloody negative, this system might give Nedved the chance to shine in his free role but it does take away from the strikers as Trez and Di Vaio have to work very hard on their own and its not thier natural game, no wonder they are now goal shy as its very difficult to work so hard on your own up front and by the time they get a genuine chance they are probably too tired to convert
Tudor did very well and if it was up 2 me he definitely will play ahead of Ferrara and Montero but its not up 2 me
Buffon did well but it seems he is developing a very bad habit of not reacting quickly to shots that are not made directly at him, but thats been hyper critical
Birindelli and Ferrara were ok nothing special
Thuram was excellent
Davids and Tacchi were involved in a fascinating battle with Emerson and Dacourt
Nedved was excellent and was probably the man of the match but boy does he dive a lot
Camo did well
Di Vaio offered loads of movement and sacrificed himself for the benefit of the team
Dp was poor in the first half though he scored twice which polished his needless giving the ball away but in the second half was superb and probably deserved man of the match for his football and showing absolute class when headbutted and just looked at Lima and did nothing unlike some who will roll on the ground trying to get a fellow professional sent off. Absolute class
Still very worried about the way Lippi is going about his biz and like the Eurosport analysts were saying he absolutely killed the game in the second half, hoping for the best against Barcelona

i must say olivera was a rather decent replacement. he showed he's afraid not to take shots. i think the man of the match should be nedved. he was the at the heart of all the action. DP also deserves mention for his well taken goal *the second one* but i feel he shouldn't lose the ball so much when he can just keep it simple and not over-do it.

The controversial penalty for Juve has forced new damning statements and bitter threats from Roma President Franco Sensi.
“Everything had already been mapped out before this match,” commented the patron following their 2-1 defeat in Turin.
“Roma were penalised throughout the season because they knew we were among the strongest sides.”
The businessman has often blamed the referees for their disastrous campaign and was particularly peeved by the penalty awarded to Pavel Nedved.
However, Sensi also looked to the future and maintained changes have to be made in order to make Serie A ‘safe’ for his men.
“If over the summer I don’t see at least four referees sacked from top flight officiating,” he snapped, “then I will retire Roma from Serie A football.” :LOL: :fool:
The President is not new to such threats and made similar statements – including the theory that Juve’s run was all ‘mapped out’ – towards the end of the last campaign.
Nonetheless, Juventus Director General Luciano Moggi replicated Sensi’s comments.
“This time the Roma President cannot have any complaints,” he said. “Juventus won and his team lost. It was a deserved victory.”

“It was a good game and we played very well. Juve did well to score the goals and we accept the result, even if Roma deserved something more.”
“The Giallorossi played the best football before the penalty, but obviously became tired towards the end after our midweek Coppa Italia game with Lazio.”
This fixture is always a hotbed of controversy and tension, so it was unusual to see Capello smiling when Pavel Nedved was awarded a dubious penalty.
“The referee did relatively well and made the decisions he believed were right. The television images speak for themselves,” he grinned sarcastically.
Capello also laughed ironically when he saw that the referee had awarded just three minutes of stoppages.
This was a sore point following Juve’s equaliser last week in the fifth minute of injury time against Bologna.
“Between getting angry and smiling, I’d prefer to smile,” noted the tactician. “Everyone should smile at Easter.”
The Capital club has struggled throughout the campaign, but have already taken points off Inter and are yet to face Milan in the title run-in.
“Certainly all teams have problems when they face Roma, and Juve struggled today as well. This is a good squad that plays excellent football.”
Nonetheless, Capello accepted that Juventus are well on their way to the title.
