Fagioli by far the best player. Accurate pass from 50/60 meters, won the ball once at the midfield line and tried to score with a shot from there (went over tho but I loved the effort). And besides those nice things, everything he did was good. Looked far better in form compared to the Coppa final.

... Fagioli red card 45 seconds into the second half.

We’ve won it. Easy game, superior side till the red card. After we switched to 4-4-1, scored a nice free kick and killed the game of with a counter. Padova was really bad. Grinded the game out after the second goal.

Fagioli should get some time with the first team or loan him out to a Serie A or B club. The kid is class.

no 2nd leg? who's next then?

the first round of the national stage of the Serie C playoffs has ended: Carpi, Juve Under 23, Potenza, Novara and Ternana qualify. From next round Bari, Carrarese and Reggio Audace also come into play, second in their respective groups at the end of the regular season

i guess we're waiting for a draw

Yeah. It comes from Muro or Mur in French ;)

I hope Atalanta will give us 5 million or so for him. A few million here and there from these deals can't be bad for the books.
Nothing comes to Italian from French ffs!
If anything, words came to French FROM Italian (a.k.a. Latin).

I have read that 7% of Italian words come from French, there are many reasons for this: wars, literary, cultural and commercial exchanges are the most important.
Conversely, there are only around 1.9% of words of Italian origin in French (according to the services of the French Academy).

Pagelle, translated from here: https://www.juventusnews24.com/page...va-voti-protagonisti-playoff-serie-c-2019-20/

Loria 6.5 - Returned in great style between the bianconeri posts. The saves on Gabionetta and Ronaldo saved Juventus at decisive moments.

Di Pardo 6.5 – Always precise on the right. Conceded little space to his opponents. (46’ Wesley 6.5 – Gave more thrust to the right in the second half).

Alcibiade 7 – Gigantic in the centre of defence, winning the duels against his opponent Soleri.

Coccolo 7 – Now he is the perfect partner for Alcibiade. Mechanics are increasingly smooth in the centre of defence.

Frabotta 7 – He took the role of attacker in scoring the second, writing the last words of the qualification speech.

Fagioli 6 – The best player in the first half, naivety showing with the second yellow.

Toure 6.5 – His usual match of substance and strength in the midfield. Great legs against a more experienced midfield opponent.

Zanimacchia 7 – From nowhere the first goal is created from his speciality: the free-kick. Ingenious invention. (69’ Beruatto 6 – Brought on at the end to protect the result).

Rafia 6.5 – Had a hand in Frabotta's goal: a perfect counter-attack orchestrated by the midfielder (69’ Peeters 6 – His presence in midfield is felt right away, not fouling during tackles).

Marchi 6.5 – Less involved in the heart of play, he did important work to sacrifice himself and help the team (85’ Marques n/a)

Brunori 6 – A blocked shot and little more from his game. He was substituted after the Fagioli red card (48' Portanova 6 - He did well in both phases of play).

Coach Pecchia 7.5 – With ten players against men, the team showed the right character and spirit to win the game.
