I think Allegri found better use for Rabiot, this sitting double pivot role has him focus on the basics. In more attacking left CM role of 3 CMs he was asked to do more then he can handle, and just is so inept.


Just saying to him stay central and be physical and play short seems to narrow down his options for fuckery.
