I think most people lose the plot in these situations. We can't replace over half of our starting lineup. That would be suicide for next year and a classless, non-juve move. We need to replace our central defense, sign a starting DM and find one more playmaker/attacking winger. 4 new starters. The rest need to backup guys like Nedved and Del Piero and Trezeguet. Grygera and Salihamdzic were very smart pickups. They both add depth and flexibility. Now we need some staples.

So does that mean that Agnelli family has injected 104.8m euro or is that the total budget? And is it 104.8 or 71m euro?
They injected 104.8. Not all that money will go to transfers and not all the money given to transfers should be spent. Some assume 50mil some assume 71mil. It is all speculation. The only ones who know are the only ones who need to know. I say, lets assume we have 50mil to work with. It seems like a good number and will be all we need. If Trezeguet leaves I think we should go over a bit to get Toni (although we will get a nice chunk for Trez), otherwise there is no need to spend more. We cant just sign a bunch of big namers. That is what Real does. We need to fill some holes. And build some depth. And we need to do this with guys who fit our style. Don't think that it is good to bring someone on who is going to play his own position.

agreed Tony, large replacements in the team would harm more than benefit the team. The management should be smarter than that and evaluate where are the areas of weakness in the team rather than mass exodus and buys.

I would prefer more italian players.
I totally agree with you on that, but still in my line-up there are 6 italians, not bad for a top club, just lookaround europe how the line-ups look like.
in any case any given time I would welcome more topclass italian players, but so do other italian teams.
if we did have the money and players like de rossi, luca toni and gilardino wanted come, i would love to welcome them at juve. but until then i can live with my line-up and hopefully one or two young italian prospect will break through to the 1. team next season like paro did this year. perhaps the likes of criscito, marchisio and de ceglie...

you could add cassano to the line up, but with his attitude i prefer one less italian if i had to choose between him or some one else with similiar skills

9 new players in the starting lineup, plus you don't have a goalkeeper at all. Thank God your dream will never come true.
i don't forgot the keeper and as i think Buffon will stay..:smoke: ...
regarding the formation ....i don't care who is comming and who is not, accept any attacking duo ...either Ribery - Quaresma or Diego - Quaresma...

if juve want to keep Baro who is in my mind is less than Stephen Appiah which is whom i connsidered not enough for A when he was with us, so how Baro then!!!!, so if we want to keep Baro , he will be a sub. . ....the same goes to C.Zaniti, i hope also these duo will be repalced and Frings - G.Silva or Sissoko my best options but i don't mind if M.Diarra comes instead.

also, don't forget that Nedved is old too, and he will be super sub. for my best selection which is Quaresma , and in the other side, neither Marccioni nor Camo are in there best moments and i hope to sell Camo and keep Marccioni as a sub but we need one better like Ribery

in the defence all u know, we need two new CB, for sure , and the best with reasonable price are Henzie and Barzagly .....

in CF part, if Trez stay fine, if not, we have Toni.....also we have DP too and may Robinho if possible as an option too or we could play in 3 attacking men like

------------Diego--------------
Trez-----Quaresma/Robinho

do u think there is a formation without keeper,:smoke:

I agree. I think the problem with italian players is that they are very expensive. you have to buy them before they get famous. if a player is good and you have to compete with milan, roma and inter for the player he gets very expensive. I think our future plan to find players before other teams find them is very good. We just have to look that they also get their chance at juventus like a lot of players got this season (Paro, Palladino..).

I´m hoping this players we have now will still be backbone of the team next season:

Buffon
Chiellini
Zanetti
Camoranesi
Marchionni
Nedved
Del Piero
Palladino
Trezeguet
:agree: I want Balzaretti to stay too, De Ceglie and Marchisio won't go anywhere.
I hope we sign Criscito, and 2 key players.

We have 1 player with us already Grygera.

I'm happy to see you left Bojinov out of your list. :shifty:
