Some genius at Nike?

BTW, when does our deal with Nike expire?!
My kind of genius :D

But in all honesty, the Nike shirts have never bothered me. Always thought they were quite nice. Until the Betclic "thing" appeared, that is.

I reckon most of the Nike kits sucked. So far I've only liked the 2009-10 one (though the font on the back sucked) and this one is pretty good imo. I guess the 2010-11 home kit and the 08-09 gold jerseys are decent too.

this shirt looks like it was put together with scissors and glue. In all honesty, great design by nike but the execution looks like shit. Small black and white patches to cover up stars? Really? Atleast make them the same material or even colour. Also, I swear we're one of the only teams in the world left with a sponsor sticker. If not for the scudetto patch, I dont think I would be able to handle this jersey.

I'm pretty sure we'll extend with Nike anyway, so don't get your hopes high. Although, if we become a huge force in CL again, they will probably work with more accuracy and attention. Look at the job they're doing for Barcelona and MU, no sticker bullshit there.

It looks great from the Cameras and will look awesome in CL :D
Don't worry too much, we'll look great while we rape Mourinho and that other idiot that's trying to be the new Guardiola :D

It's not Nike's fault. The jersey itself looks great. But the sponsors can't be added in non-sticker form because of the black and white stripes. They would have to be incorporated into the shirt but I don't think any company does that anymore.

Well, they could've just left a space open, leave it all black, for the sponsor to be added, surely? I don't understand how they couldn't do that, to be honest. Similar to what they did on the back where the name goes. It would only look silly if Jeep insist on a certain font size, but I think we/they could've done better.

Either way, I'm really happy with both the home and away kit, I'm not too bothered.

Yeah, that's what I meant by having them incorporate it in but I don't think they do that anymore for some reason. Just easier to make straight lines, plus the primavera squad doesn't use sponsors. All teams use sticker, but most only have letters. We have to do the background too. Sucks but it is what it is.
