It actually says that it happens before deadline. He can shot someone down but can't investigate in that night then.

No, the confusion is by it saying the detective cant investigate the night after, as in one night he blazes, the one after he doesnt investigate. Copied it from another forum, was a suggestion to not make the gunblaze too powerful and make him useless 2nd night, but it isnt, changed it back to him only not investigating that night and working as usual 2nd night in that forum, because it would make the detective too scared to gunblaze. And one wouldnt want that, because its already risky enough to gunblaze, you have to be fairly sure in your instinct about someone.


Its redundant to mention if its night or day in the rules, because everything happens at night in this game and after lynching, except the jailer.

I was only once the detective and the gun blazing option was introduced in the next game. You confused it with something else. I never blazed the gun as a detective.

But I'm behind you in all this. Even Tahir thinks the same way. When he order the gun blazing Jasper should have done it immediately, not the day later. Then, of course, he'd have proven that he's really the D and people could have voted for someone else in the last minutes in order to save him.
Unless they voted no lynch in the last minutes, then another player should have been lynched now.
If I was the narrator Tahir was gonna be a victim of lynching, even though it wasn't gonna look fair.

Everyone her understand this Gunblazing like this as something that happens instant. If the detective is not allowed to shot at anytime of the day then why give him a gun.
And i forgot the most important part:
Day and Night. No one seems to care about that in the past games but it's important. Cs and the C special roles ONLY can take any action during the day. The Night is only for the gangsters.

Either you let us play the game as we (or the narrator) wants or lay out every little detail about the game before hand. It's one thing to point out something you deem a mistake and it's another attacking someone for it. It's not the narrators fault.

The definition of day, everything that happens before the lynch deadline, or after it. The definition of night, everything that happens after the lynch deadline, is acted on them. Like the lawyer saving after lynch is over, the detective finding out his investigation after the lynch is over, the bodyguards act protecting after the lynch, and finally the whack as you said, happening at night. All of this ties in together.


Only thing that happens at day, is jailer, so what makes you think anything else happens then?
