Alen, thing of the game as real life for a second. If a group of villagers have chosen to kill me over SABSAB but suddenly right before they try to kill me I tell them that I'm a detective and prove it by killing SABSAB (which I wrote before it happened) at which point everyone found out I was right because she turned out to be a recruiter then why on earth would they kill me just because I'm next in line in terms of votes?

Doesnt make munch sense does it?
Theres too many scenarios to consider here for example.. ok his getting lynched, where did he get the gun from is it assumed that the detective up until he gets lynched will have the gun with him all the time? Anyway cant we discuss this later?

Why would the Gs try to whack me? I haven't been sketching on anyone today and I'm not really looked at as a big threat. I just don't see the motive for whacking me tonight.

The aftermath of gunblazing, lynching, protecting, investigating, whacking, ALL OF IT, is for the next day that follows. The lynching is for that day alone, and nothing can effect it (except lawyer, also happens at night), not even the jailing, because the one who is jailed can still be lynched.

Its very counterproductive to do it in the middle of the day.
Like I said, play it however you like. In any case the narrator made a mistake. If Sab is lynched then the gunblazing wasn't gonna happen at all and you wouldn't have known that Tahir is the detective.

Now, I don't know your role and I don't know if you're a G trying to look like a C or you're a C telling us the rules, but in both cases you must admit that jasper fucked it up :D

Fuck it, I'm the best narrator ever with Sab and Ze as close second/third :p
The last two narrators were...well...

Look guys we can settle this based on the rules. The gunblazing according to Osman must happen after the lynching, right? How much does the detective have time to do it? Tahir could have investigated/blazed his gun after JBF getting lynched, right? Until when was he able to do it? Until the voting starts in the day after?
In this case we all voted on her exactly on deadline. So he didnt have time to change his gunblaze to investigation. But what normally happens is that the detective gunblazes someone he is sure wont get lynched, to have any practical effect. The detective change change his gunblazing or investigation order on the deadline too like anyone else, so its all about timing.

And here is what the rules says:

Detective (new mode): The Detective will have selected a target by nighttime which they wish to investigate, at which point we will then reply with what that person's role is (gangster, civilian, bodyguard, etc.). The Detective also has the option of using once per game the "gun's blazing" mode which allows them to kill one person they choose without knowing before hand their role. The Detective will not be able to investigate the first night after they do this as a consequence of using this mode. Afterwards their role will go back to normal. However, if the person they kill is any type of civilian, their role will immediately be revealed on the thread as a press release, blowing their cover.

-------

Nowhere does it say it happens in the middle of the day, but that it happens instead of the investigation action, which happens at night.

Because I'm already dead when they go and lynch someone. And it happens that you are the one with the most votes after me.

I know Alens shot someone down before the lynching ended. And it's the only way this gunblazing makes sense at all, you need to be able to do it instantly. That's how I know it works.
How should this work. You shot the bullet at someone and then you the narrator catches it and say no no wait lets see who gets lynched? How retarded is that? I was dead before the lynching, do they want to hang my already dead body from the lamp post?
:agree:

Sab, even though the dark forces had you (G's) I still respect you. I don't like you, but by God I respect you :p

Out of coriousity, when did Alen do this? I know the rules have been totally ignored too often, with allowing the narrator to investigate 1 day early etc. But when did someone get gunblazed in the middle of the day? I played every game, and I would have noticed this huge error. You said it happend with M.G, well it didnt because I poorly adviced him to gunblaze you back then just few minutes before the night deadline.

And no, it doesnt make sense whatsoever to gunblaze in the middle of the day.

That's exactly why g's who don't know the roles act...i was a g 2 times and this is the way... But be sure you won't be a target anymore because there are 3 c's who risked very much today and need to be hunt down...

It actually says that it happens before deadline. He can shot someone down but can't investigate in that night then.

If you understand the English language you would know that the "first night" usually precedes a day :shifty:

He did indeed fuck it up, by announcing the gunblaze before seeing what happens with the lynching, but its partly due to Ze announcing it himself in the thread that he ordered that before narrator did, Jasper got excited and announced that first instead of the lynching, thinking it overruled it. But Ze had already done the deed by announcing it, so not much of a fuck up, more of a missunderstanding.

Dunno, game 3 or 4. I know he did it. I'm sure.
Well then we should leave this gunblazing out because it's retarded like this and the only one who thinks it goes like this is you.

I was only once the detective and the gun blazing option was introduced in the next game. You confused it with something else. I never blazed the gun as a detective. :)

But I'm behind you in all this. Even Tahir thinks the same way. When he order the gun blazing Jasper should have done it immediately, not the day later. Then, of course, he'd have proven that he's really the D and people could have voted for someone else in the last minutes in order to save him.
Unless they voted no lynch in the last minutes, then another player should have been lynched now.
If I was the narrator Tahir was gonna be a victim of lynching, even though it wasn't gonna look fair.
