That's just not true. What he's doing is pleading guilty but referring to circumstances. He'll also point out that there are other clubs involved and that Serie C is a far too heavy penalty. Saying Juventus should stay in A, and thus saying they did nothing wrong, is ridiculous and only damages your credibility. It's good that he conceded this much, now he should stand his ground.
By pleading guilty you automatically confirm that you as a team were aware of this. This is a case for Juve not for moggi or giraudo, his a Juve representative, Juve should stand there ground by saying we were not aware of it simple as. To say yes we deserve serie B as a punishment automatically brings a psychological advance for the judge to just give that sort of punishment, when in reality who knows we may even survive going into serie B and instead have a few leagues taken from us (which is very likely) and docked points. Time will tell, but its ridicolous as i have said before to plead on the first day. To be honest what the prosecutor said regarding serie C, has definetly made the lawyer and Juve as a whole sweat. Yes we should be punished but let the punishment be decided after the trial why before? We are dropping our standards for the case to serie B, if the judge sets his eyes on Serie B and then later on finds that there was much more involvement it will by default make him think Serie C, whilst if we are defiant of our innocense which Juve as a club are, (possibly excluding moggi and giraudo, who should be sentenced on there own accords) then Serie B will be the decision made.. If the lawyer representing Juve thinks this case is going to end quick, then seriously he must be out of his mind. A decision for Juve cant be made until all of the witness, evidence e.t.c are brought conclusively forward, hence why i believe its stupid to talk about punishment before a trial and plead guilty straight away.
