Interesting stats to show some of our problems (until today 01 Feb 2010):

- Of all 29 goals we conceded in Series A this season, 15 goals (51.73%) have been conceded in the last 15 min of the two halves. It shows how unfocused we were during the last minutes of the two halves.

- Of all 29 goals we conceded in Series A this season, 12 goals (41.38%) were from set piece situations. It shows how bad we are in set pieces situations.

- The last thirty minutes is also the time that we conceded most (14/29 goals ~ 48.3%). This might be a sign of being unfocused, but also might be a sign of fitness problems. This correlates with what we have seen: we were always playing bad (mentally and physically) in the last minutes.

- Our goal scoring average is bad: 1.54 goals/match, ranked seventh in series A. We ranked ninth in term of goals conceded.

    Updated!

We've had lots of injuries but it's still shocking how after 37 matches (in all competitions) our top scorer is a player who scored only 8 goals.

5 in serie A and 2 in Coppa Italia. That's 7 goals total.

Now look, I know Azzurri7 and all the other users that love Del Piero think I'm a DP hater but I'm gonna take my chances and present these stats I just saw. You guys can read into them in anyway you want.

Basically, these are stats of how many points the team gets with those players playing.

Camoranesi 36 points / 19 games 1.89 Points per game
    Chiellini 44/25 1.76 PPG
    Buffon 37/21 1.76 PPG
    Iaquinta 14/8 1.75 PPG
    Sissoko 24/14 1.71 PPG
    Giovinco 20/12 1.66 PPG
    Melo 36/22 1.63 PPG
    Marchisio 31/19 1.63 PPG
    Poulsen 29/18 1.61 PPG
    Amauri 35/23 1.52 PPG
    Del Piero 16/15 1.06 PPG

    I have something for you:

    Giovinco: 1 goal+assist every 366.6 min
    Amauri: 1 goal+assist every 301.7 min
    Caceres: 1 goal+assist every 292.2 min
    Diego: 1 goal+assist every every 188.1 min
    Camoranesi: 1 goal+assist every 191.5 min
    Candreva: 1 goal+assist every every 166 min
    Trez: 1 goal+assist every 145.8 min
    Iaquinta: 1 goal+assist every 126 min
    Del Piero: 1 goal+assist every 112 min

Go ahead with your objective observations. Del Piero is our most efficient player so far this season.
