I saw on a TV here in my country...

It is reported that Juventus' officials are going to travel to Spain, respecitvely to Barcelona and Madrid.

They are going to Barcelona to meet with FC Barcelona officials for selling David Trezeguet to Barcelona. But Juventus' officials said that they want Puyol as a part of exchange for Trezeguet.

After Barcelona, they are leaveing for Madrid, to meet with Real Madrid official for transfering of Lilian Thuram to Real Madrid. But Juve want an exchange deal, which will bring Morientes to Juventus, currently on loan to Monaco from Real Madrid.

So this is :

Trezeguet to Barcelona, Puyol to Juve + money that Barca will pay.
Lilian Thuram to Real Madrid, Morientes to Juve.

i say this is a great deal, and i hope the agreement between Barcelona and Juventus, and Juventus and Real Madrid will be reached...

Puyol is great defender, and he can can replace Thuram, if he goes to Real Madrid.
If Trez goes to Barcelona, and if we get Morientes, Morientes would be a great replacement for Trezeguet. He is a top class striker.

I hope this deals will be reached...
actually great!

puyol would be 22 if it was the year 2000:D

As for Morientes, i think he is a great player who can succeed in any league. I think if we can get him, along with a young star such as cavenaghi or gilardino, our forward unit would be perfect. That would mean selling di vaio as well. yes, i know he has scored some crucial goals lately, but he misses a lot as well. and of course selling him would mean getting more cash as well.

As for Puyol, yeah, its a great idea. Especially if we can get the likes of Mexes and Trabelsi as well. it would really make us solid at the back.

i just hope that Moggi at least attempts such deals, he cannot afford to be ignorant and go for players who are one hit wonders like he did last transfer season.

Why do you guys even bother specualting about Puyol anways. He is not being sold. And if he were, Juve would be behind Chelsea and Man U., meaning Juve would have NO hope since they wouldnt be able to outbid them.

Moggi would not be able to outbid them, but if Laporta really wants Trezeguet, then Puyol could be on his way to Turin. Thats unlikely though.

well, he was born in 1978, which makes him 26. hence, if it was the year 2000, he would be 22 as azzurri7 mentioned.

puyol and mexes in the centre of defence would be nice. trabelsi on the right and zambrotta on the left. thats a solid defence. also, puyol can play right back as well. gives us good options. if you were referring to that of course.

Puyol sounds great, but didn't Barca said they weren't gonna sell him? Perhaps as a part of the deal for Trezeguet...

As for Morientes, why? If we get Gilardino, why would we need another striker if we have Micolli, Di Vaio and Del Piero?

I think this is just some unrealistic rumours, im pretty sure Juve are far more interessted in Gilardino and Cavenaghi than Morientes. But the Puyol rumour, maybe?, even though i think its better to only get money for Trez and Davids to buy players like Ferrari and Mexes.

I don't think we can get any more money for Davids, other than money we get from Barca from the loan agreement. He is a free agent now because his contract with us expires at the end of this season. He is free to join any team, even Lokomotiv Moscow.

That is why it is so important to sell Trezeguet this year and get as much money out of him as possible. Everybody knows that he wants to leave. Why make another "Davids' mistake"?
