Puyol would be awesome, not so sure about Morientes tho. Doesnt seem to be the kind of striker who'd flourish in Italy.
And i wudnt let go of thuram, to start with.

He's neither. Look, he's not a superman player, he just happens to be in the right place at the right time. He's really fast, has an excellent eye for goal, gives it his all and has that ability to lead his teammates when it really matters. He's excellent at what he does but it doesn't make him a Zidane. The kind of opposition we usually face, and the way we play I don't think he would be of much use at all. Big deal you can run really fast but when Chievo is defending with 9 men, what good is it?

Most of the season he has iirc. In the Champions League he's often played as a second striker given that the opposition is tougher and his pace is more destructive to them.

I just don't want to see us get Giuly to see him fail here because his game is unsuited to our needs and have everyone say he failed, he was nothing special in the first place.
