Ummm,,, I can't think of a realistic replacement... Zlatan would be great though,,,,But don't know if thats possible.
Zlatan is certainly possible, he will cost much less than we could sell trez for.

Why did you say if we sold Nedved defenders wouldn't be our priority? We could get a lot of cash off him and we could buy defenders and who knows maybe another creative player
If we sold Nedved, our priority would be to get a new creative offensive midfielder/playmaker.

Selling nedved would definatly require the purchase of a replacement. If we merely signed defender then we would be fubared as we wont have any real attacking force in midfield, Camo is intermitant.

the selling of nedved would be to generate funds to fix our defence problems and of course, we would have to replace nedved himself. But, in todays market, and what teams are willing to pay for nedved abroad, i think we can buy a world class creative midfielder and two young star defenders on nedveds transfer alone.

nonetheless, the current team is showing signs that it needs a make over not just in defence, but in midfield and maybe upfront also.

Mainly in the defence......

IMO with 2 great great defenders it will be ok.

In the Mid... if we will lose nedved.we forcefully need a great player there a great player with great vision.

Im not so worried in the attack..because if we solve our problems in the back and middle... the attack will improve alone.

My only concern is divaio,,, he seems to be lost in space.

we'll see how di vaio goes now that trez is out for several weeks. he'll get his chance again, if he doesnt do well, he may be up for sale.

He reminds me of kevin phillips....he needs games and confidence, then he will be at his best. Until then he will be shocking.

Are you saying that he reminds of Phillips in that he needs games and confidence? Because I think they look quite similar :D

Nooo he needs games to play well, when he doesnt play he sucks when he returns, it usually takes him a while to get back to form....

He has beattie next to him, that should help

Phillips has been pretty good lately, but he's not the striker that I loved at Sunderland.
