Yeah, Ballack would be awesome...But realisticall, if you want a workman-like playmaker, then Pizzaro is your best option. The only other that I could think of is maybe Paul Scholes.

I'm not saying that he's as good as Nedved, just that he plays a similar style in the playmaker role.
