Pizzaro seems now to be Capello most wanted man to our Mid partner for Emo.
Pizarro'd be a much better option than Vieira. He'd complement Emerson better, he offers us the creativity we need and he is a lot cheaper!

id prefer pizzaro...but not for any of the "i love pizzaro" reasons...or ur reasons eiter Dom even normally id agree 100%.

The reason i want pizzarro over vieira?? ...because imo Arsenal will be fubared if they didnt have old Paddy Vieira...and since i wanting an entertaining EPL with a closer title race...Vieira must stay.

If we wont grab him, Real or someone else will grob him,
Vieira stated some time ago, he was tired waiting Arsenal to become big enough to claim CL,its obvius this year will loose some players and again they wont invest that as to become protagonists in europe,Vieira feels he isnt getting any younger,
he must make a moove now or never

Yes but do we really need him?
I mean we will have the most solid midfield but what about our creativity broblems? We won't solve them.So we must buy Pizarro or Mozart apart from Vieira.

i feel that Emo and Viera will not be in our team at the end if Viera comes....i guess moggi will give emo to RM and we will get walter samuel....strange but logic

No, I dont think we are losing Emerson, I dont think Viera is better than emerson, I really think we are lookng for a partnet here.

Yes, vieira is not creative enough IMO, he is as creative as Emerson but not enough to significantly improve Juve's attacks. In Arsenal he looks creative because they play with creative wingers and forwards who create the space and opportunity for vieira to follow, this isnt the case at Juve.

But I believe if he comes we will have a very solid defense and would not need the creativity to win as we can highly breakdown opponent's attacks and launch effective couter attacks.

Vieira is a man who links all the midfield in Arsenal,
his absence is imidiately noticed,
he just had a medium years because he got tired to be in... such a team,If he mooves in to a team like Juve with new motivation(CL) he will be again at his standards,
Emo and Vieira arent the creative midfieldres we need, true, but
they are good enough as Pizarro to create and their combined tries will work wonders and together they can make Pizarro job offensivly and they can create a defensive block no other team in Europe may come up against to,
Juve is based on defensive tactics, thats our strong spot,
i m not sure one player is enough to make as offensive team,
Vieira is the best choice!

Neddy in the left flank???Imo he is over
Neddy isnt finished,
i m confident he will put the bad days behind and become the fighter he was again, he is back now,
strong again and the team tried hard to boost his morality,
with Pizarro or Vieira to help him up he will be another man,
because he sould some extra work with the lies of Blasi/Appiah around him

High ranking Juventus officials are understood to have arrived in England to negotiate the transfer of Patrick Vieira.

Reports of Juve's liking of Vieira and team-mate Robert Pires have been widespread in recent weeks and it seems the Old Lady are now pushing ahead with a bid for the Arsenal captain.

And, to the shock of many Arsenal fans, the North London giants appear willing to let Vieira leave.

Juve transfer supremo Luciano Moggi and vice-president Roberto Bettega have now travelled to London to open talks with counterpart David Dein.

The Italian champions are looking to pay no more than £12 million and could be willing to offer players in exchange to smooth over Vieira's passage to Turin.

Stephen Appiah is one name being mentioned, although that is unlikely to have stirred Arsene Wenger into allowing Vieira to leave - although the mention of David Trezeguet could have the opposite effect.

Juve have insisted that Trezeguet is not for sale, but the French star is anything but settled at the Stadio Delle Alpi and the Italians could very well include him - although that is likely to be a last resort.

Sources in Italy also claim that should Trezeguet not be on offer, than Wenger would gladly take French defender Jonathan Zebina - but Juve are not understood to be keen on letting the former Roma man leave.

With Appiah unlikely to arrive, it is claimed that Wenger has already highlighted one of Lyon's much coveted midfielders to replace Vieira.

Mahamadou Diarra - already linked strongly with Real Madrid and Chelsea this summer - is the man Wenger is said to want and the prospect of walking straight into the starting XI could very appeal to the Malian ace.

However, Lyon, as they already have done on numerous occasions and will continue to do so, are likely to resist any new moves for one of their midfield trinity, which also includes Michael Essien and Juninho Pernambucano.

It remains to be seen whether Wenger will allow Vieira to leave without having a ready-made replacement signed or at the very least lined up.

Despite the fact that Juve officials have arrived in England, Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood insists that he knows nothing of the impending talks on Vieira.

"I've heard nothing about this at all," he said.

"As far as I am aware it is just a rumour and we're talking to Patrick about signing a new contract and he seems very happy to stay."
