it's not just now - he is a very average, limited player, who also isn't too smart, football-wise but most likely generally too, so there is hardly any room for improvement.
The reason why looked great at first was that serie a players and coaches needed some time to get used to his style and straight-line speed and once they figured him out, he was easily eliminated as he didn't have the intelligence to adapt his game to the new situation.

Right on the money. Would just add that Conte needs his wingers to be intelligent players and that's why I think he'll have an abysmal season. Krasic knows how to play only in one way and Conte won't tolerate a player not executing the tactical plan. I expect Krasic to be a bench player till the end of the season. The bad thing is that Pepe is the player we have on the bench.

In a way his limitation is similar to Diego's.
