There might be a last minute shock move after all! Well sort of anyway.

Talk is that we might complete the Bojinov deal for 5 million euro's.

I'm dying to know the reason that made Secco buy the contract of Belardi now...

He didn't play one minute until now for Juve, and he is waiting for the end of his life. And we have a loaned out keeper that will come in June, so why signing this useless guy??

    Mark,

1- Did you try clicking on Reggina in that site?? Doesn't it say that they got Belardi back from the loan??

2- I tried to look for anything related to this Marco Russo, and found nothing but this old article:

SOCCER STAR 'KIDNAP' DRAMA EXCLUSIVE BY LEON HICKMAN; BIZARRE INCIDENT AT SOLIHULL HOTELBODY:

TEENAGE Italian soccer international Marco Russo claimed today that he was "kidnapped" from Birmingham as agents battled to sign him for an English club.Marco, aged 17, already valued at more than pounds 1 million, was staying in a Solihull hotel while on trial with the Blues when the alleged incident took place. He said an agent tricked him into packing his bags and travelling up the M6 for a trial with Manchester City. "I was told that it had been authorised by my legal agent," said the under-16 World Cup forward."I did not suspect anything. I left the hotel and trained in Manchester. Then the man who is looking after me in England, Gianni Paladini, and his son came searching for me at the hotel because I hadn't turned up at training for Birmingham."He added, through an interpreter: "They contacted me and brought me back to Solihull. I was very anxious but now I am okay."BewilderedMr Paladini also claimed that Marco, who comes from the small town of Cariati in southern Italy, had twice been the subject of fake contract attempts. He said: "I have the mandate for negotiations in England."The lad is bewildered that all this is happening around him. He just wants to be a footballer.

"Mr Paladini is now waiting to see whether the Blues offer him a contract - and so are no fewer than six different agents, all of whom have been jostling to represent him.Marco is currently on the books of Seria A club Regina, but because they have not contracted him he is free to join any other club in an EEC country.Details of Marco's case will cause concern for FIFA, the game's world governing body, as it highlights serious abuses by agents who have discovered a lucrative traffic in young footballers across national boundaries.David Gold, chairman of Birmingham City, said: "This sounds appalling and I am going to make immediate inquiries."It might be different if he were a 25-year-old with experience of dealings, but for a boy of 17 it must be a terrible. The football world is already very concerned about agents playing an increasing part in the game. "Some of these people are just desperate to get their hands on money, and the sums can be significant."At least if he joins us he will be extremely well treated. We have an excellent management team who are totally committed to young players."Marco added: "I still want to be a player in England and I think I will hear form Birmingham very soon. This is an adventure for me although it did go a little bit wrong.

    Is he the same guy??

    1. In order to buy him, Juve had to let Reggina get him back from loan and then buy him. Belardi is here to stay. :pint: :D I guess he's gonna be Gigi's backup next season with Mirante going on loan to get some games.

    2. Boh!

You lot really make me smile, even if we only had 11 fit players, we still wouldn't buy anyone in January!
Right now, we are lucky to have 11 fit players....few of which are defenders

at the beginning of this season, many here (including myself) thought that Serie B would much more physically demanding than A, and with more games to be played, that many injuries were inevitable

Now that we've hit this rather large bump in the road, we had a chance to bring in some reinforcements, in the way of skill and experience, and Coboli and this joke of a management team let the opportunity pass them by......

We are so desperate on defense that we have a guy playing CB who is really just an average DM...and it shows !!

Now Kovac is out another 6 weeks, so what do we do if someone else gets injured...try Palladino in defence ?? He's already playing out of position FFS !!

DD and this clown crew splashed a ton of money on a Newcastle flop who isnt good enough to play in Serie C, let alone B, and we have a forward named Zala who also fits into that category

This is a bunch of BULLSHIT, and these idiots running the team are showing their arrogance (ignorance if you asked me) by making signings for next year, for our "return to Serie A"

Hey jerkoffs...why not concentrate on THIS season, because from what I've seen this season so far, our promotion back to Serie A is in NO WAY A GUARANTEE !!!!!

I have watched all but 3 games this season, and with the exception of the game with Cesena, we havent been convincing at all

I have ZERO confidence in these idiots running the club...and that goes for DD as well
