i dont understand though, they want van der vaart as well? dont they have enough playmakers at the club? wouldnt mind seeing what type of tactics they have in store for next season. barcelona are like inter..they buy players which are not needed.

FFS, VDV is truly the most hyped player on internet. No matter what forum I go to, the first ppl mention is VDV even though he's been useless all season long in our mickey mouse competition. Has become a bit of a squareball merchant with an eye for goal. He reminds me more and more of Scholes (but on this form he's nothing more than a B version of him).

I agree that VDV is overhyped but he's still a good player with a very promising future ahead of him.

PS. I've always preferred Rosicky. He's a better passer and offers more creativity imo.

Surely you'll agree with me that his 'uselessness' this season is due to a form crisis? Something even the biggest players ever to have walked this earth have suffered from at some point in their career?

I have no problem with anyone saying that Sneijder, for example, is better than Van der Vaart but to completely rubbish him like you just did is HUGELY exaggerated!

Enough to know that he's better than Van der Vaart.
IMO he isn't! Rosicky is very overrated! A lot of people here, remember him from the Sparta Prag team, and the good Borussia times. I think that Rosicky is not that good! I watched him very closly, and I think he is not the type of player we need. He shows no defensive skills, never runs for the ball, if he looses it and very often he tries stupid dribblings, and looses the ball!
AND....He is so injury prone. Thats all we don't need!

What we need, is Pirlo, with the fighting spirit of Nedved or Davids. Show me one player, who can offer that.

Barca would be a good move for him
Not at all! He would not even get a match! Remember, they don't need another playmaker. They have Ronaldinho and Xavi, who have both been playing great this season. The only players they need are a big striker like Trez, as well as more defenders.

Sorry but I disagree. He shows some good work ethic many a times. I have watched him a lot these past 2 years, and he does come back and help defend. He is a very good player IMO, someone who could add so much creativity to our mid.

Rosicky doesn't need to have defensive skills, he's a playmaker ffs! Do Zidane, Totti and Ronaldinho have defensive skills? No, and neither does Van der Vaart. What Juve needs is an attacking player who can pass the ball well and orchestrate attacks. Rosicky is that player imo. Van der Vaart has a better shot and eye for goal, but he doesn't pass or dribble as well IMHO.

Sure he would. Barca could play 4-3-2-1 with Ronnie and VDV behind Trez. Xavi is more of a central midfielder than a trequartista anyways. I think he could do well with Barcelona, even if Man Utd would suit him very well too.

as long as we get a playmaker i am fine, IMO it doesn't really matter that much if we get VDV, Rosicky or Diego,.. the first 2 have more experience in European Football and CL, Diego if he is like Kaka then get him!

I wouldn't bank on Diego being like Kaka, or more specifically I wouldn't put my money on him adapting to Serie A as well and as quickly as Kaka did.
