:D unfortunately you can't hide information about your last edited.

I would be careful where you are going with this. I suggest, for both your health and the emotional health of your family, you go on with your day and forget this ever happened.

Burke had a number of points already against him and his derailing of that thread added just a couple to put him over the top and have to sit out in the "sin bin" (in hockeyspeak) for a while. The mod who issued the warning didn't realize that he was on the cusp of a ban.

I've talked it over with the other mods... I'm going to see if I can remove the warning and lift the ban (a two-step process). However, Burke really is living on the edge with his warnings currently.
how many points warning will cost permanently banned for someone?

Worse, I noticed that the 2 points for derailing a thread also triggered his max on temp bans before permanent banning.

A temp ban is 10 points accumulated (the warnings expire usually after 30 days). As for how many temp bans you get before automatically triggering a permanent one, you may have to ask Burke. He's got a pretty long rap sheet...

Like that post actually deserved a warning.

I thought it was pretty funny myself. But someone else pointed out that sometimes it's not the matter of a single post but rather 2-3 straight pages of changing the thread topic.

If you check it doesn't really change the topic, but I know how carefully you mods rule on this topic. And I understand that my team's thread has been benefit of this rule, but I dont really think that the comment "derailed the topic".
