I was never a fan of this whole automatic thing. And as it turns out, whenever a member gets banned someone complains and says it's ridiculous to ban someone for this or that post. After that the mods discuss and usually unban him. I don't see the point really. Moderators should be smart enough to see for themselves when someone deserves to be banned. If they do want some sort of system to help them they shouldn't constantly overrule it.

anyway, common sense should always override rules.. see them as guidelines more then rules. Its an internet forum, not the police station at the end of the day.
