apparently all their strikers are out of our reach at the moment.hasselbaink, kluivert, bergkamp, nistelrooy are all classy strikers but do you think we will get them?i guessed as much.now, name me another dutch striker we have a realistic chance of getting and will come here and not become a total failure.

Turu Flores a palyer i quite admire, has gone backwards imo, as i feel he could have gone on to be a gr8 player, probably unlucky not to be a regular at Depor, i think he went to Rayo vallecano or a similar team

I only saw Turu Flores on one occasion, some time ago when Arsenal smashed Depor 5-1 in the UEFA Cup. Turu Flores was great that time, excellent on the ball skill as he tore up their left flank.

Juve eye Trezeguet replacement Monday 19 August, 2002

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus will sell David Trezeguet next summer and replace him with a young Egyptian striker, according to reports.

Cairo based news medium Hazememam.com claims that Juve transfer guru Luciano Moggi has confirmed that Ahmed ‘Mido’ Hossam will be on his way to Turin.

"We are looking at Mido to take Trezeguet’s place who will join either Arsenal or Real Madrid," Moggi was quoted as saying.

Mido is just 19-years-old and currently stars for Dutch giants Ajax.

The striker started his career with Zamalek for whom he scored four goals in five games before moving to Belgian side Gent.

He quickly moved to the Netherlands and has already impressed at international level with two goals in three games.

Mido is rated for his heading ability and has an asking price of around £13m.

Meanwhile, Juventus may lose out to Real Madrid in the chase for Mexican stopper Rafael Marquez.

The international, one of the stars at the World Cup, has been linked with the Bianconeri but admits he would love a move to Spain.

"It would be a dream come true for any player to sign for Real Madrid," he told Radio Marca.

"There has already been talk about my possible move in the past and I am just hoping that there is some concrete interest."

The Monaco man is valued at around £15m.

why, i thought Holland is the heaven of attacking football ;)
Attacking football is more than a forward - if you don't understand that then you should never be coach... ;)

When we sell trezeguet, mido isn't a good solution at the moment because he isn't a world class striker maybe he would become it in the future, but at the moment he isn't . the only thing he is is very talented and if he would develope as he does now then he would become great.
but i think djebril cisse would be better for us as i have too choose but that's my opninion.
and makaay let him stay where he is. he isn't good enough for us

Question...
Would Moggi, the undisputed Master of ambiguity himself, ever unveil such a precise information to the media? At this time of the year? No, of course not. But you know, journalists need to earn their everyday bread! They write the biggest garbage their opportunist and twisted minds could ever come up with - pretty lame this time, just after Hossam's brace. And we should batten with that sh!t!?
