I think if this deal came through, then bonuses will very well be part of it, though I think the way it might work in our favour is, if the there are higher bonuses in the first season and lower ones linked to the latter two seasons, assuming bonuses are spread over three seasons.

To be fair, Schalke probably are not responsible for Draxler getting injured in his second season at Juve, if he stays fit for the first one and makes a certain number of appearances. Another way, is to link it specifically to the after effects of his injury, whatever it was. If symptoms of that reappear, it's only then that Schalke don't get part of the bonuses.

Excited by the thought of having such a young team, but of course, I'd have liked a little more experience in Draxlers position, as a slightly more seasoned player. Anyway, in terms of the team evolving, I think if we added Vrsaijko and Benatia next season, maybe Cuadrado if we want that extra run on dimension, it would be right up there with the top 5 in Europe.

Dedicadon thread due bruv. Hook it up.

Both deals avoidable IMO. This mercato could well be perfection with Goetze, but as things stand, I'd take Draxler, even though not a huge fan of the move. Maybe Allegri and Marotta see it as the best fit, even outside of the 'circumstances'.

Good, let's close and move the team on to playing together.
For what it's worth, Gotze only has 26 more appearances than Draxler, while being a full year older, so its not that much of a difference.

If we are getting so many key players then of course we need them this week. There is talk about Cuadrado on loan along with Sandro and Draxler. What do you say?
We don't need them this week Jack. We have more than enough with Pogba, Dybala, Mandzukic, and that defense in addition to Superman between the posts to get by this week, my friend.

Starting with the Roma match next week is when we have to start integrating thsoe two (hopefully those two. The thought of Draxler joining this club tickles me in places that one shouldn't feel ticklish)

As far as Cuadrado, if it is a loan, then I would certainly not be opposed to it. He would add versatility and really give us two dangerous wingback players (Along with Sandro) in a 3-5-2, and a viable winger in a 4-3-3. The more options at Allegri's disposal, the better. A bad 6 month spell in a new league doesn't dissuade my thinking that if he came back to Serie A, he could do well.

That's almost a full season more dude, but more importantly, it is the environment and quality of those appearances. Played in a World Cup, scored in the final, week in week out is part of a big club set up in Bayern, was pretty much a protagonist at Dortmund before that. His temperament is definitely more seasoned in my view. And of course, he's got a bit more game too.

Same feeling on Cuadrado too, gives us that extra experimental dimension.

According to Sky, S04 will take our offer in the end
That being what? 18m plus 10m?

Yes, but if Draxler wasn't injured, then it would have all equaled itself out. And I understand that Gotze plays for a bigger club, but one could make the argument that for the past two seasons, and maybe even beyond that, that Draxler has had a more important role than Gotze has had in recent years.

And besides. Draxler's girl is just so damn beautiful. Make a grown man cry

Don't call him just "Sandro", its a double name. His ghetto mother intended to name him Alexandro but something went wrong. Like our own Pereyra :D
I was waiting for this, but wasn't quite sure myself. It's a bit like called that cannon-legged left back "Carlos", or guy on the other side "Cafu". Wait, never mind.
