Really? Miki is in very good form right now firing on all cylinders unlike Draxler who hasn't really recovered yet it seems. Yes he gets to play full 90 minutes but so far he barely contributes.

I know many will disagree but for me Miki > Draxler. The latter isn't even an AM to begin with (looks more like a winger).
Mikh has a stronger floor (presente), but lower ceilling. We know what to expect from him and know chances of being a protagonist are low.

Draxler has a lower floor (could be a total bust) but a higher ceilling (WC).

There is no way (with his recent injury record) that he is worth more than 30M anyway, so I think that bid is a very fair proposal. Schalke will see all the 10M if we sign him and he stays injury free.
I think if this deal came through, then bonuses will very well be part of it, though I think the way it might work in our favour is, if the there are higher bonuses in the first season and lower ones linked to the latter two seasons, assuming bonuses are spread over three seasons.

To be fair, Schalke probably are not responsible for Draxler getting injured in his second season at Juve, if he stays fit for the first one and makes a certain number of appearances. Another way, is to link it specifically to the after effects of his injury, whatever it was. If symptoms of that reappear, it's only then that Schalke don't get part of the bonuses.

Buffon
Licht Bonucci Chiellini Sandro
Pogba Marchisio Asamoah
Draxler
Dybala Morata

That is a very sexy team if everyone is fit.

So many youngsters. :D
Excited by the thought of having such a young team, but of course, I'd have liked a little more experience in Draxlers position, as a slightly more seasoned player. Anyway, in terms of the team evolving, I think if we added Vrsaijko and Benatia next season, maybe Cuadrado if we want that extra run on dimension, it would be right up there with the top 5 in Europe.

50,000 posts btw. :D

Blow me, @Bianconero_Aus.
Dedicadon thread due bruv. Hook it up.

Both deals avoidable IMO. This mercato could well be perfection with Goetze, but as things stand, I'd take Draxler, even though not a huge fan of the move. Maybe Allegri and Marotta see it as the best fit, even outside of the 'circumstances'.

Good, let's close and move the team on to playing together.

If Sandro and Draxler do arrive this week, one could say that it is a blessing that Juve play Udinese at home to start the season. I am not saying that they are a pushover, but this club can win comfortably without Sandro and/or Draxler. It would give them an extra week to get acclimated, and then you can throw them into the fire against Roma. They will know sooner rather than later that every team Juve faces in Italy treat the match as a final, so better to have them get used to it now.

If we are getting so many key players then of course we need them this week. There is talk about Cuadrado on loan along with Sandro and Draxler. What do you say?
