"You know full well that during the transfer window lots of offers are received and made," Marotta told Sky Italia on Monday. "We presented a bid to Schalke this morning but there's still a gap between the two parties.

"We are interested in Draxler, but he's still a Schalke player and a lot will depend on their will. We're not in any rush -- there's time. We want to put a couple of cherries on top of the cake that has been our transfer market."

Draxler would have cost €45 million prior to the expiry of a release clause in his contract at the end of June, but Marotta said Juve's offer had been weighed up carefully.

"We've presented one offer, which was a result of the considerations we had made, and they have every right not to accept it," he said.

"We're not anxious about it. We have alternatives and we're evaluating different scenarios. We're not in a rush to reach a conclusion because we know there's still a month to go until the end of the transfer window.

"Juventus are following numerous players. There could be alternatives [to Draxler and Gotze]. We're working on things calmly."

lamela can play both treq and winger, for 9 mil i would take a gamble on him for sure
Llorente + 10-15M? i think they would ask for something like that if we tried to lower the price with Nando. without him probably closer to 25M

What I like most about Marotta is that he's a reasonable man. He always looks at these things from all angles and is polite and considerate while getting results. Why some hate this man I will never understand.

id take him. and considering we are looking for an offensive player, and very few seem to be available and good enough for us, Salah would be an option to me (not 1st option obviously)
I'd buy none if thats the case.

No need to be desperate for new signings.

Like Beppe himself says 'no rush'

They hate because their "name droppers" obsessed with the name players and believe that if Juventus don't get certain names and other clubs do we will not win and loose, yet Juve have proven these past four season that not only do we beat teams with bigger and supposedly better names but that our approach is working
