Why do we need a difference maker for only 3 years?

Look at our purchases

Dybala-21
Sturaro-22
Rugani-20
Coman-19
Zaza-24

We are trying to turn a page in the book, and invest in youth and hope that we build the team that way instead of looking for short term replacements
they’ll all be gone anyway once barca and real come knocking...
won’t happen with zaza, coman or sturaro though.

i dont play fm so no :D

But of the latest buys our management has made, how many have been World Class players and went and spent a lot of money on?
On a scale of 1-200 there's potential ability and current ability.
Messi on this scale has ~195 potential ability and sits currently on ~190.
Both Draxler and Götze has incredible potential at maybe ~185-190.
Draxler is currently at maybe ~160 while Götze is maybe ~175-80, so for Götze to reach his potential is a shorter route, and he's currently a better player. We're investing in youth but the two years between Draxler and Götze is close to nothing compared to how well ahead Götze has developed.. That's just my opinion, anyway..

Of our latest buys I only think Khedira is world class (or close to). Dybala will be - he's on ~185-90 potential ability as well ;)

well, he has done more than those two.
+ we would have brought him back now if he wanted to.
Berardi will flop at Juve

morata has played in two cl finals and has faced clubs like real, barca etc. several times.
draxler has 25 cl games to his name including games against inter (the year after they won it all), man utd, chelsea, real madrid...
i agree that we are taking a risk but you are really struggling to make your point here.
Draxler played 23 CL games, big fucking deal. He played at an underdog club with the atmosphere of nobody expecting anything after group stages. And Morata? He has been a great rebound-machine so far. Can he pull the horse out of the swamp when it matters? I doubt.

You cannot deny the fact of losing 2 worldclass players and gaining 0

I guess we should have never brought in Dybala or Rugani because they dont have "experience"
It's all about balance. 28yo players like Vidal had me confident that youngsters won't do too much harm. inb4 Khedira. He is also-ran-ish, don't expect him to step up in difficult moments.

According to CM & others, Draxler wants a move to Juventus. Personally, I'd prefer him over Gotze any day of the week.Let's just get it done

According to #SkyItalia, Juve is continuing negotiations for Draxler & after the idea of a loan they are thinking about making a normal bid.
