Perfect addition for that left wing role. Strong and hard working..not skillful like Messi or Ribery or Ronaldo, but who is???? Experience in Serie A and we wont get any surprises.

Buy Criscito to play behind him and that left side is gold!!!

For the right, play giovinco, a different player with different creative qualities and with a player like Cassani at right back, both sides of the park would be rocking.

Even an average Amauri would look good and score loads of goals with that kind of supply.

Plus De Ceglie is good back for the left...we'll just need decent back up for the right and we'll be right.

If there is a player we need from Fiorentina right now except for the obvious Jovetic I would say Montolivo. He's a good regista and he would be great next to Marchisio.
I thought so too, but when I saw him properly I realised how absolutely crap he was.

Very good player, but in no way should he be our left back. The price tag mentioned is a bit extreme as well, which is a concern from last summer when we went horribly over the top with Felipe Melo (not that I'm saying we're going to have a repeat of this season in terms of performances). It would be better to see us get rid of some deadweight in the deal like we did with Marchionni last summer though, I'd happily say goodbye to Grosso or Legro for example.

It's encouraging to see us linked with some really good wingers though, they add so much to a team.

J.M.Vargas is no doubt a good player with many indivisual skills like SHOOTING,PHYSICAL STRENTH,SPEED & FIGHTING SPIRIT.

BUT

I don't prefer him in Juve for the following reasons:

1)IF PLAYING AS A WINGER:NEVER GO FOR FULLBACKS TRANSFORMED WINGERS;Though he is originally LB Manuel during his early monthes in Viola disappointed and was pushed forward to play as a LW.That was useful.BUT he doesnt posses the complete charachteristics that needed in the world-class Wingers like Technique,Pushing the ball inside, playing with both legs....... .

2)IF PLAYING AS A WINGER:That would completley end our hopes to see SEBA as startar,i knw that some of u say Seba is not the WN Del Neri is looking for he doesnt defend, but i would say that a winger doesnt need a body to defend like the CB cause he defends by channeling and Just following the Backs when they push forward.
I dont really understand why all of u as well as Del Neri are looking for Mids,we have complete MIDFIELD providing we trim it by selling the useless players as well as giving the chance to the underestimated players.
We have good, versatile& young players in all positions of midfield starting with destroyer DMCs(Sissoko&Melo) and Dynamic Box to Box centers(Marchisio&Ekdal) going wide to flaying wings(Giovinco,Candreva,Rossi&Esposito)
to even TreQ(Diego&Yago). What we only need is to get rid of players like Brazzo,Tiago,Camo&Poulsen AND give chances to the wasted talents like Yag,Seba,Candreva..........................

3)IF PLAYING AS LB:As many of you said he lacks a lot of defending skills,so he is not also a prefered LB.For me Vargas is the best Wing back.He perfectley fits in a formation like 3-5-2 or 3-4-2-1.

4)IF PLAYING AS LB:We need a balanced LB a one who can defend&attack EQUALLY&PERFECTLY.He is not that kind of LB that's way i prefer KOLAROV and my best one is TAIWO,the neigerian is a complete LB and pose all the good skills that Vargas has.

NOTICE:This thread is about VARGAS not MONTILIVO.

I like this type of players in my team and he's 26 years old.

We should never play him as a LB though.

Vargas would be a great acquisition. Marotta will have my full confidence if he gets him for a reasonable price. At this moment, we really need workaholics like him and Krasic.
