I should just stay away from all football internet sites during the summer, this $#@! is so frustrating. Maybe if I were a Real gloryhunter I would enjoy the transfer window, but for Juve it sucks. All this fuss over Iturbe...:sergio:
I remember a couple of years ago people didn't exactly go all fuzzy over James Rodriguez when we were linked with him and almost signed him for 5 million €. Instead people were against it, because we were all in love with "the new Nedved", Sir Milos Krasic, and we didn't want our only non-EU spot to go to a unproven player etc.
It's not always the biggest names or the ones we as fans know best, and the names that creates the most moistured panties, that will turn out to be the best deals... I believe the club have done some serious research, we don't just splash 20 million + on a player because he had a few good games... So IF we actually get Iturbe, i think we will at least have to give him the chance before laughing at the transfer..

Look, if we get him, fine, I hope he works out, but I'm just saying it's a lot of money for a potential failure like so many of our other past transfers. Maybe for once it would be smarter to spend big on one proven player instead of spending the same amount on several failures.

One player won't help us. So if we can spend the money on multiple quality players instead of one WC player then that's what Marotta will do

I agree, i think it's a lot of money aswell, and to be honest i don't know Iturbe well enough to say if he's worth it or not. It seems to contradict a little with what we have done earlier, where we didn't want to take huge risks by investing big in one player, but rather spread our investment over several players... But i believe the management have taken it into account, especially because we have been so finacially tight the last two years

One player is exactly what we need. Multiple players help with rotation, they help with league games against smaller teams. They don't help when youre playing the best of the best in a cup and you need a game changer.

Incorrect ! We need a better rotation we were tired in CL and didn't have the quality to sub out starters. One player does jack

Sanchez would be amazing here and would have a great impact but he is impossible too. 40M and high wages is not something we can afford. Iturbe and Morata are available, within reach for us, could turn out to be amazing players and would be on pretty low wages (compared to Sanchez).

Really?
Our starters were not good enought to get us out of the group phase in first place. We need game changers dude... or change our game because our last european run is testimony of that you like it or not.

Sidenote : we cannot afford "one wc player"

But we dont have the funds. Unless that "one player" is Iturbe

Yes that's my point. Didn't you read what I said. He wants Sanchez. For the money we wills
End on him we will get two or three quality players and reinforce the whole squad not just one place
