Chelsea would never include an option to buy for less than 30-35m they payed. And on our side we would want around 20m option to buy. So a loan with no option is fair. If he plays good we can negotiate next summer. If not he goes back. I don't think we would ever pay 30 plus m euros so I don't kno why it matters that there is no option. So if he had a 30m option to buy people would like that? We would never pay that for him so it would be meaningless. I rate Cuadrado and a cheap loan would be a good opportunity. I still think we need a AM tho

I don't care about the option. We cover the right side this year for 1.5m and next year we get Berardi.

    4-3-3

    Cuadrado - Morata - Dybala

    Coman - Mandzukic - Pereyra

    Zaza 3rd choice CF

    I think that works

When we play 4-3-1-2 we can Pereyra behind strikers

    Draxler - Morata - Dybala

    Coman - Mandzukic - Cuadrado

Pereyra should count as a CM, we lack real depth and players there right now.

I guess we could play Cuadrado on the right and Morata on the left and Mandzukic in the center. I don't kno we would have a versatile group but inevitably one of Dybala or Madzukic or Cuadrado would be on the bench every match.

I think Marotta's getting him just not to be left empty handed at the end of the mercato if in a worst case scenario all of our objectives for the AM fall through.
That's why there's no option to buy. He's not really in Allegri's plans.

What would people want the option to cost? I don't think Chelsea would agree to below 30m option
They can set a 30M price on them if they want, but nobody and I mean nobody is going to pay it. His value has decreased, and even if he does well at Juve his value will at best remain as it is, as his contract will be shorter and he's still never ever going to turn the heads of clubs like PSG, City, Barca, Madrid.

That's what I'm saying. I wouldn't pay 30 and Chelsea wouldn't take 20. So a 30m option would be meaningless cuz we would never pay that for him. A 30m option might as well be a dry loan

I don't even think we want a player like him long term, but I reckon 20 would do it. At this point Chelsea have no interest in him and i'm sure he feels the same way about Chelsea.

Offloading a flop (Even though they barely used him, it's still a flop in the eyes of others) for a similar price to what you paid is good business.
