Sorry but he's not the permanent answer to the RB issue despite his 'good form'.

He always has a stupid mistake or two in him and I can't even blame him because that is not even his natural position in the first place.

He would have been there even if he played as an attacker in a trident. We had a set piece iirc and we always leave Matuidi or Cuadrado at the back, since they're our fastest non-attackers, in order to stop a potential counter.
His first half mistakes though have a lot to do with being a winger forced to play in defense.
