He’s had some good run of games in previous years aswell but don’t let the reality of most players seemingly out of form and overly reliant on him for now distort your view of how well Juan been doing, he’s been overall excellent compared to most others so far but only in a handfull of games has he really been extraordinary and really put to the test, the rest were only solid, just as most of the other times when we’ve had a fully-fit and in-form Cuadrado available.
Fair point about him looking relative to out of form players. However the Cuads I've known, when on form used to have extraordinary and clutch moments, but usually wouldn't have a solid 90 minutes. So this is new for him, IMO

He’s had some of those before aswell which unfortunately eventually lacked continuity due to injuries, but indeed never seen him on such a positive long run as a RB though, even now not all of his performances were extraordinary but i can definitely agree they were for large parts solid.

However all that really matters is that he stays fit and keeps it going as he’s done, so far impressive.

Cuadrado agreeing new Juve deal

By Football Italia staff

Multiple reports suggest that Juan Cuadrado will sign a contract extention with Juventus, along with Leonardo Bonucci and Wojciech Szczesny.

The Colombian, who has been at Juve since 2015, will sign a two-year extension to his current deal, which expires next summer, according to Tuttosport, Sky Sport Italia and more.

Cuadrado has played as a makeshift right-back this season, due to the club's injury problems in the position.

He joins goalkeeper Szczesny and defender Bonucci in renewing with the Bianconeri in recent days.

The Polish goalkeeper is set to sign a three-year extension tying him to the club until 2024.

As did Bonucci, with the defender inking a new deal that will see him stay at the club until his 37th birthday.

Cuadrado at Juventus until 2022

By Football Italia staff

Colombian winger Juan Cuadrado has renewed his contract with Juventus on a contract worth €4m a year until 2022, according to reports.

The Bianconeri ace has been rewarded for his performances since joining the club in 2015 and extended his previous deal by adding two more years at the Allianz Stadium.

His agent was spotted entering the Juventus HQ this morning and an announcement is believed to be imminent.

This season the winger has been mainly playing at right-back and Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolò Schira has confirmed that he will be on a new deal worth €4m a year net, plus performance-related bonuses.

Juve have recently tied down goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny and defender Leonardo Bonucci on new contracts.

This weekend, Juventus are travelling to Bergamo to face Atalanta in their return to Serie A after the international break.

Never would have thought he would have lasted longer at RB when we have seen Alves*, MDS, & Danilo all come (and go*) for the RB spot .

We have (had) successfully converted Asamoah & Cuads to defenders. LOL Does any other big team do that?

Official: Cuadrado-Juve until 2022
By Football Italia staff

Juventus have announced that Juan Cuadrado has signed a new contract with the club until 2022.
Despite joining Juve in 2015 as a winger, Cuadrado has been reinvented as a right-back by Maurizio Sarri this season.
His performances in the position have earned him two more years with the Bianconeri, given his previous deal was due to expire at the end of the season.
The 31-year-old has scored 15 goals and provided 30 assists in 155 appearances for the Old Lady since arriving from Chelsea, winning four Scudetti and reaching a Champions League Final.
He becomes the second Juve player to sign a new contract in as many days after Leonardo Bonucci, with goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny set to follow.

No, we have the most versatile players; also Sarri also said that we have the most committed players, willing to make personal sacrifices for the cause.
