Cuadrado off the bench >>>>> Starting Cuadrado
So based on the seasons first game away against Chievo, we have all concluded that Cuadrado sucks and Berna with his tap in, definitely is the better player, based on all he has showed. Especially his invisible preseason games were very impressive.

Cuadrado had yet another good game. 1 shot, 2 keypasses (setting Ronaldo up beautifully almost creating his first goal), great crosses and an incredible passing accuracy of fucking 97.8%, while being heavily involved in the play and NOT just doing easy sideway passes. He is so secure on the ball that he is absolutely needed for our possession play. Against the minnows like Chievo who we will dominate nomatter what, then it is okay resting Cuadrado and play with an extra targetman like Mandzukic, as we will have crosses and chances enough. But against the top teams he is absolutely a must. Im happy it is Allegri setting the team after all and not biased fans, who judge performances based on number of tap-ins and a frustrated finish from Cuadrado. Those are the things that happens. Next time Berna doesnt get on the ball and Cuadrado makes a screamer.

It is also very normal that we push harder when we are behind and time is running out towards the end of the game. That was not necessarily due to the impact Mandzukic and Bernadeschi had because they are better players. Obviously they came on with fresh legs and Chievo were all tired and getting desperate in defence towards the end.

If we should make a change then I would much rather that we took out Dybala for Mandzukic in these games where they stand back leaving no space for Dybala, but where Mandzukic provides a great target to aim at, together with Ronaldo.

Thought he did well. Had a brain fart arguing with the ref and let Gervinho get behind. Otherwise, tried to break lots of legs and did well.

Every time he goes in for a sliding tackle, I'm thinking here goes a red card.

But alongside Sandro he did great to prevent a Parma goal around 10th minute.

Cuad is not a RB. He looks frustrated all the time there and is not very good one on one (while defending). The problem is that I do not see Cancelo as being much better defensively either.
